We have set a class schedule for our first Cafe la Photographie of 2019!
(All classes will begin at 6:30 PM and will last about 1.5 hours)
Class 1 will be Thursday January 31st
Class 2 will be Thursday February 21st
Class 3 will be Thursday March 7th.
Class 4 will be Thursday March 21st
The curriculum I have created is both ambitious and exciting!
Here is the curriculum:
Class 1 - Forward - about why we do this - Introductions - What makes a good photograph - Camera overview - what are we coming to class with - Overview of Exposure ISO - Q&A - Homework Assignments - Private Facebook Group information and discussion
- Camera functions - Overview of Exposure Shutter speed and its effect on images Aperture (F-stop) and its effect on images - Q&A - Assignments
- Composition - White Balance - Metering light/exposure - Choosing camera settings for different conditions - Getting sharp images - Q&A - Assignments
- Reading a histogram - RAW vs. JPEG - Depth of field - Lenses (Introduction) - Flash (Introduction) - Q&A
All students attending the class will receive:
44 page printed manual of the course materials broken down into the four classes
Membership in the private Facebook group for class students to collaborate
Light dinner Hors d'oeuvres prior to each class (including a glass of wine!)
We are currently planning future sessions of both day and evening classes.

Cafe la Photographie classes are $35 each with a one time payment of $140 covering all 4 classes to enroll.
(Depending on attendance, classes will either be held here at the studio or at The Bread Box restaurant, next door to the studio here in The Alley.)
